Catching Some Internet Time

Posted by BigWords on October 2, 2009

Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but I’m posting this from Sabre’s computers. Yeah, I know that I should fix my problems out and get things back to (relative) normality, but there seems to be a tsunami of problems hitting at the same time, and my resources are being stretched to breaking point.

Which has got me on to the train of thought that people have been asking themselves since time immemorial “what is the meaning of life?” Want to know? Do you really want to know? Seriously…

Okay, I’ll spill – Life is a shooting gallery and we are the targets.

Yeah, that’s the kind of mood I am in at the moment, and I’m pretty certain I have a good grasp of the optimism / pessimism balance. I pointed out that my internet connection was screwy, and now (oh the funs I be having) my laptop has died a bloody and unnatural death. The good(ish) laptop that is. So I’ll be trying to get one of them working with the internet stick this weekend.

My rig – a bitsa, with salvaged components from damn near everything – is not compatible with my internet connection for some reason, so I’ll post when I can, and hope that there is some better news for me to pass on before the lack of the net makes me go insane.

Watch this space…
